I loved photographing this family again this year.  It's always fun to hang out with them, and I really wish they still lived in Vermont.

This family meets every year in Stowe, and spends a week biking through Vermont.  So cool!  Vermont by bike has to be the best way to enjoy the fall here.

They are such a neat family, and so fun to photograph!  And Stowe is always a fun place to spend the day.

I love getting siblings together in a shot and asking them to spill dirt on each other.  There's usually a good story that puts a smile on (hopefully) everyone's face.  :)

Evidence that photoshoots often don't go as smoothly as you'd want, and sometimes kids aren't willing subjects.  But they're cute anyway. 

first day of school

Time to play catch up.  I have a bunch of stuff to post from September.  I love September.  It might be my favorite month of the whole year.  The mornings get cooler, but the days are still warm.  School starts, and the leaves start changing.  Pumpkins and mums show up on porches.  Apple picking... Apple pie...  Apple cider... I love fall!

This is a shoot I did with my girls on the first day of school.  Most of them were taken in the 10 minutes before the bus showed up.  I told them if we didn't get the photos done then they wouldn't get to ride the bus to school.  Probably not my most stellar parenting moment, but they were fantastically cooperative.  I'm pretty pleased with the whole set.

It was a big day for Sophie especially...her first day of kindergarten.  She's been waiting for years to get to go to school with Ella.  They sure have grown up in the last few years.  I love my girls!
